Quite a bit off the highway. Around 12 minutes each way, and then I got stuck at a railroad crossing. Adding the construction area and no indicator in the car that it's on level three made my typical 30-45 minute detour almost 2 hours.
Nice clean bathrooms..... "Subway" on main level for quick coffee etc.
What a great place for a supercharger! Right in the middle of the business area of a well-preserved downtown America. Actually, it's the town hall. At least 10 locally owned restaurants here and a bookstore. Not far from the Illinois state campus. Shakespeare festival every July. It's on the 3rd floor of a parking garage that charges a dollar an hour after the first hour. Even this can be waived at the Amtrak ticket desk for Tesla drivers (like they really need it). Great place for a walk. The people are super-friendly and very polite.
15 min from hwy 55 in a parking lot. Lots of spaces and shops around but inconvenient if you're just making a pit stop.
It's in the third floor (don't mistake for the normal EV charging at the second floor). Free parking just for one hour.
