I have a three year old modem that I have paid $10 per month for many years. It is not working properly. When I called to have someone fix or upgrade the modem, I was told they would send me a box and have me self install my new box and wi-fi or they will charge me to have a tech come out to repair or replace the old modem. The ‘supervisor’ was rude and continually raised his voice and interrupted me. When I complained, he accused me of doing that to him. I reminded him that I never raised my voice to him, and in a calm tone I hung up on him.
Had Comcast service for 9 days until they deactivated my service because apparently they didn't have all the paperwork completed before giving me service ( I signed up over the phone and the rep never asked for the info that lead to my service being shut off ) After talking on the phone with a rep they said my account had gone into collections and that's all she can see. Not even getting my first bill yet I was very confused so I went into the actual store which just lead to even more confusion. It never went to collections they just never gave me all the paperwork but still gave me service. So to active service again I had to change all the utilities of the apartment into my name. Not worth it for Comcast. They were nothing but a headache and a waste of time. Steer clear of this company.
Internet and TV companies all kinda suck in my opinion, but that’s not the fault of the employees. Overall, the employees at this facility are very helpful and friendly any time I’ve interacted with them. Kim helped me change a service site and was very professional and pleasant the whole time. No complaints about the customer service given by the associates here.
Obviously Comcast has a terrible customer service department that punishes they’re workers for allowing Comcast customers to talk to supervisors. I will be canceling my service since Comcast clearly doesn’t care about their customers.
I called customer service 5 times and they will never allow you to talk with a supervisor. All they do is play phone tag to waste your time. I spent 3 hours on the phone just to be told that all supervisors are out of the office. If you ever have an issue with their service, they will do absolutely nothing to assist you just to save their own job.
I would leave no stars if it were an option. To say Comcast has terrible customer service is an understatement! Jill Jones in the Normal IL office rolled her eyes while shaking her head repeatedly while I was in there. I’ve been in there 3 times within the last month with service issues and there’s a new excuse as to what the problem is each time. I’ve had Comcast for over 10 years and it’s always something. I’ve canceled my service. $180 a month for service that goes in and out and terrible customer service is absolutely not worth it!
