Aisles are much easier to navigate. Easy to self check out quickly. Store is set up much better than Walmart. Parking lot is easy to get in and out of.
This store is always well maintained and well stocked. The stockers are pleasant, friendly and helpful. The variety of items means you can just shop there and not have to make a trip to any other store; grocery, pet, health, clothing, shoes, electronics and seasonal items.
I'm very impressed with Meijers. The friendly service and great prices have won me over. I doubled my grocery spending today; just because of all the sale items. Wow. I am very pleased.
In all honesty, this entire town's grocery stores have some sort of conspiracy. One store will have an item I need, while the others do not. I have to visit at least two, most of the time three, stores in order to get the exact items I need. I'm not a big fan of the produce, nor the meat sections. Other than that, they do offer the protein shakes, hard boiled eggs, and soap I use.
We honestly have almost stopped going into Meijer's. Mostly because we have has issues with them honoring their prices. This includes prices on shelf and in ad. One shopping trip we were going to get an item that was on sale in the meat section. They were out and when we are the guys at the counter if there was more they just said "I don't know".
